The Prayer Request Line is an avenue of Prayer by people of our parish to pray for people that are dear to us.  The St. Patrick Prayer Chain has been in existence for 30 years.  It is called a chain of prayer because of the system used for members to contact one another and to have the prayer intentions move quickly from one participant to the next.

What are the Intentions?  Petitions for prayer are received from parishioners or members of the community for themselves, their loved ones, friends or neighbors.  The intentions quite often are for healing, for protection, for whatever needs exist.  Prayers are frequently requested for troublesome family situations.

There are approximately 50 members of the prayer chain.  Recently we have formed a union with the Rutland Congregational Church members and share our prayer intentions with one another.
